MarketplaceWhat is the Marketplace?It is the open marketplace where suppliers can view quote request details and provide quotes without requiring a specific invitation from the buyer. It is designed to enable buyers to obtain quotes from suppliers in an open market format.
How does the Marketplace work?When you create a quote request, if you set 'Type' to 'Public' it will appear in the Marketplace when the quote request is activated. All members can browse the Marketplace and the search and sort filters have been designed to help suppliers find the quote requests that they may be interested in quoting on. All members can click on the quote request summary in the Marketplace to view its details.
InteractoryWhat is the Interactory?The Interactory is an interactive directory. It is designed specifically to help buyers source new suppliers by giving them multiple ways to verify and qualify those suppliers and multiple interaction options, including live instant messenger chat.
How does the Interactory work?The Interactory contains suppliers who have subscribed to Fabbers Market. Members can view their business profiles and read feedback, endorsements, comments and view references and contact referees. If the buyer wants to know more, they can start an instant message chat session by clicking the online icon.
GroupsWhat is Groups?Groups is where you can go to join together with other members who are interested in the same topics as you are interested in.
How do Groups work?Anyone can create a group. Simply click the ‘Create Group’ link and follow the directions.
Some groups are open to all to join and other groups can only be joined on request. Once you are a member of a group, you can create and participate in group discussions. Live IM ChatWhat is Live IM Chat?Live instant messenger chat between members.

How does one blog?It’s very simple and all members can blog. Just go to your profile, click the edit link and then click Blog then write up your post, title and tag it.
Obtaining QuotesHow do I obtain quotes?Click on the Get Quotes link to create a quote request and start receiving quotes. Since it's a free service, you can invite your own suppliers to provide quotes too.
What is the difference between a public and a private quote request?When you create a quote request you can select whether the it is public or private. If public, it will appear in the Marketplace and any member can click on the summary to view its details. Private quote requests do not appear in the Marketplace, instead you obtain quotes by privately inviting suppliers to quote.
How do I invite suppliers to quote?To invite suppliers to quote on an existing quote request go to Quote Manager, expand the quote request by clicking on the number of parts and then click the Invite Suppliers button at the bottom of the list. That will take you through to the invite page where you can select the suppliers that you would like to invite from the list provided.
IP Protection and NDA
To help safeguard the IP of your designs, you can upload your own NDA (non disclosure agreement) to protect any files attached to your job. Before any supplier can view a file that you have indicated as NDA protected they must first agree to be bound by the terms of your NDA. Also, as mentioned above, a quote request can be either public or private and you make this selection when you create it on site.
Quote ManagerWhat is Quote Manager?
Quote Manager is where buyers and sellers can manage the quotes that they have supplied or requested.
For buyers, Quote Manager is where you can view, compare and accept quotes requested from suppliers. It is also the place where you can pause, edit, cancel or delete any quote requests. For sellers, Quote Manager is where you can view and track the status of quotes that you have supplied. It is where you can update the status of any jobs that you have won so that the buyer can see whether the item is 'not yet in production', 'in production' or 'dispatched to customer'. Customer ManagerWhat is Customer Manager?Customer Manager is a report by customer on the value of business that you have quoted on on Fabbers Market. Every time one of the customers in your Customer Manager adds a new job to the Marketplace you will be automatically notified.
How do I add a customer to my Customer Manager?You can't manually add customers to your Customer Manager. Customer Manager contains customers who you have: 1) provided a quote to; or 2) been added to the Supplier Manager of. In either case, the customer gets automatically added.
Supplier ManagerWhat is Supplier Manager?Supplier Manager is where buyers can keep track of the suppliers that they use. It is also where members can invite external suppliers to join Fabbers Market.
How do I add a supplier to my Supplier Manager?Login and go to Supplier Manager, fill in the business name (as it appears in the Interactory) of the supplier that you would like to add and click the Add Supplier button.
How do I invite my suppliers to join Fabbers Market?Login, go to Supplier Manager and then click on the Invite Supplier link and fill in the email address of the supplier that you would like to invite, then click the Invite Supplier button to send the invite(s).
Alternatively, you can invite your suppliers to provide you with quotes when you are setting up your quote request. How do I know when a supplier that I have invited has subscribed to Fabbers Market?When you have invited suppliers to join Fabbers Market, you can see when they register and subscribe by logging in to your account and going to Supplier Manager.
Supplying QuotesHow do I supply a quote?There are two ways to quote on a quote request, either via the Market or by receiving an invitation from a buyer. Via the Market, click on the quote request to view its full details and you will see the Quote Summary. In the Quote Summary, click on the part name to view the details for that part and enter your quote in the text field provided. Alternatively, if you have been invited to quote, you will receive an email to your Fabbers Market inbox and to your external email address. Clicking on the link in either of these invitation emails will take you to the job details, where again you will be able to provide your quote via the Quote Summary.
My ProfileHow do profiles work on Fabbers Market?
There are two types of profile, one reflecting the member personally and one reflecting the member’s business. The personal profile contains basic information supplied during registration and can be edited to include further details. A member can then choose to add business profile details. Only business profiles appear in the Interactory.
When you add content to the site in the form of blog, video and other multimedia you can do so via your personal or your business profile. Other members viewing that content will be able to view the profile from where it came from and obtain further details or discover more about the publisher of that content. How do I edit My Profile?Login and click My Profile, then click the tab to view either your personal or business profile, to view your profile how others will see it. then Cclick 'Edit Profile'the edit link to edit your profile details.
What is Business URL?Within the Basic Information section of My Profile you can create your own Fabbers Market url for your business. A URL is a web address. By typing your business name into the open text field you can create a unique web address for your business that anyone can use to view your profile on Fabbers Market.
How does Feedback work?When a supplier has won and completed a job, the buyer is invited to provide feedback which then appears on their profile.
Where can I see my feedback?You can view your feedback by viewing your profile and clicking on the tab labeled 'Feedback'.
Can I reply to any feedback that I receive?Yes. You are allowed one response to each feedback comment that you receive. Your response will appear below the original feedback comment on your profile.
What are endorsements and how do they work?Endorsements are comments left by other members on the profiles of suppliers appearing in the Interactory. They are specifically intended as comments that back or endorse the business and services of the supplier in question. Unlike comments, endorsements only appear on the profile when the supplier has approved them.
What are comments and how do they work?Comments are comments left by other members on the profiles of suppliers appearing in the Interactory. They can be general comments about any aspect of the business and services of the supplier in question. Unlike endorsements, comments only appear on the profile instantly when posted and it is up to the supplier to monitor comments and respond as appropriate.
My AccountWhat is My Account?My Account is where you can control your notification options, view any invoices for services received, such as advertising, and deactivate your account.
How do I set my notification options?Login, go to My Account and click the Email Notification Manager where you can then amend your options.
How do I deactivate my account?Login, go to My Account and click the Deactivate button.
Login DetailsWhat are my Login Details?Login Details consist of the external email that you provided when you registered together with your screen name and your password. You need to provide your email and password in order to login to the website.
How do I change my Login Details?Login, click My Account and then click Login Details and use the form shown.You can change your password on the Login Details page. However, iIf you wish to change your login email address you must request to do so by clicking the link 'Change?' next to your login email address on the Login Details or Contact Details page.
What if I forget my login password?If you forget your login password, go to the Login page and then click on the 'I cannot remember my password' link. You will then be prompted for your login email and a password reminder will be sent to you to that address.
My SettingsWhat is My Settings?My Settings is where you can amend the global settings for your account.
How does My Settings work?Wherever you are on a page and are required to enter details that correspond to your default settings of currency and timezone, these fields will be automtically populated so that you don't have to set them every time, although they can always be amended.
My AdvertsWhat is My Adverts?My Adverts is where you can create an advert for your business and display it on Fabbers Market.
How does My Adverts work?Publish an advert for your business by clicking 'My Adverts' in the navigation, then click '+ Create new advert'. Once you have created your advert it will be reviewed before going live. Once approved, your advert will appear in one of the spots down the right hand side of the page, run of site.
My BookmarksWhat is My Bookmarks?My Bookmarks is where you can view any quote requests, supplier profiles or other content that you have bookmarked to view again later.
How does My Bookmarks work?When you are browsing the site and you come across a supplier or a quote request that you are interested in and want to save the details somewhere convenient for later viewing where you see the 'Bookmark' button you can click it and the page will be saved to your My Bookmarks page.
